Several people visiting Pennsylvania casinos won life-changing amounts of money during the month of August. Some casinos reported players winning six-figure jackpots, which can certainly change the energy on the gaming floor.
As the unofficial last month of summer has come to an end, a few PA casino players are heading into the fall with some extra cash.
Live! Casino Philadelphia awards multiple jackpots over $100,000
Live! Casino Philadelphia got off to a hot start, when Ansaly T. of South Jersey won $97,402 on a Prosperity Link slot machine with just a $1.76 spin on Aug. 4. The excitement continued the next day, when a player hit for $139,181 after playing the Lightning Link Sahara Gold slot.
On Aug. 28, two guests won six-figure jackpots, as well:
$126,148 on Crystal Star Deluxe
$103,964 on Lightning Link High Stakes

Live! Casino Pittsburgh hands out championship rings for jackpot winners
Players who hit for a jackpot of more than $50,000 and agree to have a photo taken walk away from Live! Casino Pittsburgh with
some hardware.
On Aug. 26, Brian M. made a $5 bet on the Lightning Cash slot and cashed for $56,353.25. Because Brian took a photo with the Live! staff, he was also awarded a beautiful championship ring. Live! Casino Pittsburgh offers a separate gold ring that goes to the Giant Jackpots winner based on the promotion with both Live! locations.
The largest winner of the month earned $80,000 on a $10 bet playing Triple Double Diamond.

56 players at Rivers Casino Philadelphia win more than $10,000
Rivers Casino Philadelphia awarded 56 players at least $10,000 during the month of August, with eight of those winning over $20,000.
The Philadelphia casino did report two larger winnings, too. One player at the casino won $62,200 playing Double Top Dollar, while another turned a $20 bet into $54,557 playing All Aboard Gold Express Dynamite Dash in August.
