Jackpot City Launches As Newest Pennsylvania Online Casino

Another online casino has entered the Pennsylvania market. Jackpot City became the latest operator available in the Keystone State after launching a platform earlier this week.

The addition of Jackpot City gives the state a total of 21 PA online casinos. Along with Jackpot City’s surprise debut, the Pennsylvania market has seen some changes, but no signs of slowing down.

Jackpot City PA online casino is live for Android and desktop

The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) confirmed to PlayPennsylvania that Jackpot City launched as the 21st operator within the state, and the fourth to go live in 2023.

Jackpot City debuted earlier this week in partnership with certificate holder, Live! Casino Philadelphia.

The new PA online casino is available via desktop, as users must sign up and upload one of the following three documents for identity confirmation:

Driver’s license
Government-issued photo ID
Passport

The sign-up process took approximately five minutes.

However, iPhone users won’t be able to find the product in the App Store yet. According to Jackpot City, the games are available for desktop and Android mobile users as of now. An iOS launch for iPhones is coming soon, per the graphic:

The online platform went live with 101 slot titles. Some of the slots include:

Hyper Strike
11 Champions
Dancing Drums
Thunderstruck
Diamond Inferno

The casino has eight table games available and seven live dealer options, which include:

Infinite Blackjack
Blackjack
Speed Baccarat
Craps
Lightning Roulette
Auto Roulette
Ultimate Texas Hold ‘Em

Live! Casino Philadelphia now operates three online casinos, PlayLive! Casino, Betway Casino PA and now Jackpot City. The PGCB does not have any limitations on how many partners a certificate holder can have.

New launches and recent PA online casino departures

The Pennsylvania online casino industry has been evolving over the years, which has made it the most robust market in the country. There have been some moving parts to the vertical as of late.

Jackpot City is the fourth online casino to launch in 2023, joining the following operators:

Tropicana Casino PA (April)
Golden Nugget online casino PA (June)
Bally Casino PA (August)

While Pennsylvania has welcomed four new apps, the state said goodbye to Barstool Casino PA, which exited the market after PENN Entertainment split with the media company, and partnered with ESPN. Hollywood Casino PA is going to discontinue its standalone product to be integrated with ESPN Bet PA.

Kindred Group is also expected to pull Unibet Casino PA out of the Pennsylvania market during the first half of 2024, further reducing the online casino field. However, Fanatics Casino PA is one step away from launching in the Keystone State, with bet365 not far behind.

If we’ve learned anything from Pennsylvania, it’s that online casinos, especially smaller ones, mostly find success in the Keystone State’s market. Depending on how quickly Jackpot City can be offered to all PA players, the platform could be a quality addition.
